Original Piece: Charcoal on Paper, 2023
From the book Garden Song. An illustration for Psalm 71 – “Do not cast me off in the time of old age”. This drawing is about support between generations. The old man’s hand receives the innocent and pure love of the younger hand that rests gently above. I am blessed to have great relationships with my grandparents, and they pass down so much wisdom and love to me.
