From the book Unveiled and my illustration for Mirium. In this drawing, I wanted to capture a moment of worship and joy. The fact that it is a black and white drawing with no colour gives the effect of something that happened in the past, a memory. In life, moments like this are few and far between, but their value and importance to us are powerful and shape who we are. In this drawing, I wanted to capture this, so the viewer can be reminded of moments of connection and joy with friends in the past.
