Christ
Canvas Print / Fine Art Prints
Original Piece: Oil on Canvas, 2023
From the book Garden Song. Illustrating Psalm 81 – “I relieved your shoulder of the burden”. This painting captures the sadness and burden of Christ. The saturated blues almost feel overpowering. His head is downcast and his cheeks beaten. For me it is a reminder of His suffering and sacrifice, so we may have life.
