From the book Garden Song. Illustrating Psalm 4 – “In peace I will lie down and sleep”. In this drawing I wanted to capture peace and rest. A baby sleeping, nestled up to its mother, is one of the safest places and feelings. I wanted to capture that feeling and for the viewer to feel a similar peace when they look at it.
